hand carved lino print, hand printed in our french quarter studio on thrashed vintage blanks.
throughout the storville blue books were advertisements for the "french balls" of early carnival. these rowdy balls were organized by storyville's business owners, and attended by madams, sex workers, and the men who frequented the district. the best known of these was held by the c.c.c. club.
a couple of years ago we found a c.c.c club sign - and now we've made our first signature shirt based off of the design.
please choose sized based on modern unisex sizing - we will match modern sizing regardless of the vintage tag sizing. all prints are different and imperfections are part of the process. shirts are worn, stained, and unique. please allow two weeks for printing depending on size. please contact us with any questions.
