The Blue Books were guides to Storyville - New Orleans red light district during the turn of the century. Listed are the many Madams, “sporting houses” and women working at the clubs. It was illegal to mail this book due to obscenity laws, and was instead sold only in and around Storyville.

This specific book was previously in a private collection & was referenced in Pamela Arceneaux’s Guidebooks to Sin as likely the last edition of the book. 

It is currently the only publicly available Blue Book.
